Cozy games for when you just want to switch off

Not every evening calls for a boss fight. Sometimes you want a game that asks nothing of you but a few relaxed taps, and that's a perfectly valid way to play.

Farming and building sims are the obvious comfort choice. Skyfarm Drift is a favourite of mine lately, all gentle loops and no punishment for stepping away mid-task.

Casual pick-up titles work too. Something with clean controls and short sessions, where you can put the phone down guilt-free after a few minutes.

The point of a cozy game isn't challenge, it's rhythm. Find one that fits your evening mood and let it be exactly as small as it wants to be.
