Neon Velocity

Neon Velocity is pure arcade speed. No pretending to be a simulator, just gorgeous glowing tracks, aggressive drifting and a soundtrack that makes you push the corner harder than you should. It nails that feeling of just-one-more-race.

The touch controls surprised me. Tilt steering feels natural and the on-screen options are well placed, with a satisfying drift boost that rewards clean lines. Cars unlock at a fair pace and each handles noticeably differently.

It's not deep, and it's not trying to be. As a pick-up-and-blast racer for a few minutes at a time, it does exactly what it promises.
