Hollowmere

Hollowmere is a quiet, moody adventure that got under my skin. You arrive in a fog-choked village, and the game slowly lets you explore, talk to strange locals, and piece together what happened here. It leans on atmosphere and clever environmental puzzles rather than action.

The puzzles are fair. Every solution is hinted at somewhere in the world if you pay attention, and there's a gentle hint system for when you get stuck. Tapping to move and interact works smoothly, and the hand-drawn art carries a lot of the mood.

This is a game to play with headphones, unhurried. It's not long, maybe six hours, but those hours stayed with me.
